Alex Hansen is from South Lyon, Michigan. He has a bachelor of fine arts degree from Northern Michigan University and a master 

 

 

's degree in administration with a concentration in finance from Davenport University. He lives with his wife, Marie Arao-Hansen, and their three children.

Alex is an assistant vice president and small business banker at Comerica Bank. He previously served on the Howell Township Zoning Board of Appeals for nearly three years before moving to South Lyon. He was later appointed to the South Lyon Zoning Board of Appeals in November 2020, where he served until running for City Council in 2021.
