Davis grew up attending Jackson Free Methodist Church and now attends The Summit Church. She moved to the Fourth Street area in Ward 5 in 2006. The councilmember and daughter Brooke enjoy visiting Michigan's Upper Peninsula, playing at the beach and collecting rocks, shells and sand. They also do a lot of crafting together and playing board games. She is also Brooke's Girl Scout Troop Leader.
