Christopher Nance is from North Muskegon. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Michigan State University.

Christopher is a government executive. He previously worked at the White House Press Office, where he managed media events worldwide. He also served as a deputy secretary at a state agency, overseeing communications for law enforcement, transportation, housing, economic development, and international trade. Later, he worked as a government insurance executive, securing budget approvals exceeding $100 million from state officials. Earlier in his career, he worked for a state legislature and two state trade associations, focusing on public policy issues.
