Robert McCraight is from Romulus, Michigan. He attended Romulus Community Schools. He lives with his wife Kendra, his children Garrett and Lauren, and his grandchildren Declan, Dahlia, Ivy and Aidan.

Robert is the Director of Economic Development and Public Services for the City of Romulus. He previously served as the Chief Building Official, Director of Building and Safety, and Administrative Liaison to the Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, DDA and TIFA.

Robert is the current mayor of Romulus. He was elected in 2021 and is currently serving his first term. Before becoming mayor, Robert served as the city’s Director of Economic Development and Public Services.
