Election 2023: Two men are vying to be the next mayor of South Lyon

Steve Kennedy is from South Lyon. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Wayne State University. He has volunteered for Pumpkinfest, the Lake Street Cruise-in, downtown cleanup, Concerts in the Park, Motorfest, creek cleanup, and Blues, Brews & Brats. He has organized Show Your Love for Lyon, as well as a COVID-19 vaccination event at Colonial Acres, and served on the South Lyon Fire Department Promotion Board.

Steve is a management consultant. He has also worked in maintenance and operations.
