Nick Moroz is from Chicago, Illinois, and was raised in Northville, Michigan. He has been a resident of Plymouth since 2013, where he and his wife, Leigh, raise their two children, Zoe and Beau.

Nick is the assistant director of entrepreneurial practice at the University of Michigan’s Center for Entrepreneurship in the College of Engineering. Before that, he co-founded a Michigan-based manufacturing company designing and producing authentic wooden baseball bats.

Nick is currently serving as a city commissioner for the city of Plymouth. He was first elected to the Plymouth City Commission in 2017. He has also served as mayor and mayor pro-tem.
