Steve Alexander is from Livonia, Michigan. He attended St. John’s Lutheran School through eighth grade, then Huron Valley Lutheran High School for two years before moving to John Glenn High School for his junior and senior years to study robotics. After graduating high school in 1989, he attended the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts to begin a career in television and film technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Cleary University and a master’s degree in International Business from Liberty University. He and his wife, Angela, live with their two children, Trevor and Audrey, in Livonia. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. Following Rick Warren’s “Purpose Driven Life,” published in 2002, he has maintained the purpose of service, noting that “serving the greater good of our community is our service to God.”
