Tim Woolley is a life-long resident of Taylor, Michigan. He graduated from Taylor Center High School. He is married to wife Amy, and the couple has two children, Dylan and Sarah. The family also includes their Chocolate Labrador, Bailey.

Tim Woolley is the mayor of Taylor. He works at the City of Taylor, where he has served as mayor since his inauguration in November 2021. He previously served two four-year terms on the Taylor City Council, including a term as council chairman pro-tem after securing the second-highest vote total in 2017. A lifelong resident of Taylor and a graduate of Taylor Center High School, Woolley has cultivated relationships with residents and city staff through his years of public service.

Timothy O. Woolley is serving his first, four-year term as mayor of Taylor. Before winning the mayoral office, he served two four-year terms on the Taylor City Council and, after receiving the second highest vote total in 2017, first served as City Council chairman pro-tem before replacing then-Chairman Alex Garza in 2019. In the November 2021 general election, the former Council chairman defeated State Rep. Alex Garza and incumbent Mayor Rick Sollars to become the eighth man to serve as mayor in the city’s half-century-plus existence.
