Hilda is currently a member of the Asheboro City Schools (ACS) Board of Education. She was appointed to the position in November 2022 to fill the vacancy left by Gus Agudelo. After serving two years on the Board by appointment, Hilda is now seeking community support through a vote to continue her position.
