He lives with his family in Salisbury.

Professional background

David is a lawyer and certified public accountant. He practiced law and accounting in Salisbury before moving to Washington, DC, where he served as counsel for U.S. Senator Terry Sanford. After returning to Salisbury, he founded MedExpress Pharmacy. He also purchased and revitalized several downtown buildings, creating Caterpillars, an incubator for small businesses.

Political background

David is currently a member of the Salisbury City Council in North Carolina. He was first elected to the council in 2017 and re-elected in 2019. He is currently serving his third term.
