Jeremy Wright is from Andrews, South Carolina. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fayetteville State University and a master of divinity degree from United Theological Seminary. He lives with his three children in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Wright ran for city council in 2017 but did not win. After taking an eight-year hiatus from politics following that unsuccessful run, he is now ready to get back in the game.
