Grayson is currently the mayor of Autryville. He was first appointed to the mayoral post in 2020 and then elected in 2021. He previously served as a town commissioner from 2019 to 2020.

As mayor, secured multiple grants for infrastructure improvements, including $2 million for water system upgrades, $900,000 for stormwater enhancements, $580,000 for street paving, and $150,000 for water system inventory and analysis.

As mayor, implemented online water bill payments, established Bluetooth water meters, and purchased new water leak detection equipment.

As mayor, helped bring four new businesses to downtown Autryville, including a florist, a country store, an ice cream and coffee shop, and a beauty salon.

As mayor, supported the decision to not have zoning ordinances in order to attract new businesses.

As mayor, prioritized cleaning up and reopening vacant properties in downtown Autryville.
