New mayor talks about vision for Cramerton

Nelson Wills is from Summerville, South Carolina. He has a bachelor of arts in business management and marketing from the University of South Carolina. He lives with his wife and two children in Cramerton. He is a member of First Baptist Church Cramerton, where he chairs the House and Grounds and Personnel Committee.

Wills has not held political office before. He ran for mayor against incumbent Mayor Will Cauthen, beating Cauthen with about 52% of the vote, compared to almost 46% for Cauthen.

Plans to review the current property tax structure to assess the possibility of a decrease.

Supports more town beautification projects.
