Robert is the current mayor of Rowland. He was elected in 2021 and is serving his first term. Before becoming mayor, he served on the Rowland Town Council.

Supports expanding and improving the wastewater treatment plant to attract housing development and more manufacturing and business opportunities.

As mayor, started the foreclosure process on property owners with gross delinquent taxes.

Implemented a program for extensive home repairs for senior citizens, providing up to $40,000 in repairs.

Renovated McCormick Street community park by replacing fencing and repairing basketball and pickleball courts.

Replaced the old children's play area with new play equipment for children ages 2 to 12.
