Ashley Boyette is from Princeton, North Carolina. She has a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a master of business administration from the University of South Carolina. Ashley is a real estate manager at the City of Charleston, where she worked for over five years. She currently works for a private real estate developer in Wayne County, where she oversees land acquisition and land development for all residential developments and manages a portfolio of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Ashley is currently a Princeton Town Commissioner. She was appointed to fill the vacant seat in 2023 and is serving her first term. Previously, Ashley served on the Planning Board and Board of Adjustment for the Town of Princeton.
