Professional background

Lynn is an attorney and she currently serves as the Chair of the Health Committee in the New York City Council, where she has impacted the health of New Yorkers through legislation on diabetes, women's health, and medical care for seniors. Before being elected, Lynn held a broad range of executive positions in government, private industry, and the non-profit arena.

Political background

Lynn is currently a member of the New York City Council, representing District 29. She was first elected in 2021 and is currently serving her first term. Before being elected, Lynn served as a Vice-Chair on Forest Hills Community Board 6 for more than 20 years. Additionally, Lynn served as an appointed member of the Community Education Council for District 28.
