Radhakrishna moved to Staten Island from India in 1989. He graduated from the NYC Citizens Police Academy and is a member of the Community Emergency Response Team. He has earned the NAACP Community Award, the Staten Island Democratic Association's John Lavelle Labor Award, and the NYS Public Employees Federation's COPE Award.

Radhakrishna works as an IT Specialist for the state of New York. 

Radhakrishna has previously run for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 and Staten Island Burough President in 2021 but lost both elections.
