Andrew Cuomo is from Queens, New York. He has a bachelor's degree from Fordham University and a law degree from Albany Law School.

Before taking public office, Andrew served as the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in President Clinton's administration. Before that, he led his father's campaign for governor and served as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan. He also founded Housing Enterprise for the Less Privileged (HELP), a shelter for families, in 1986. 

Andrew served as the governor of New York from 2011 to 2021, choosing to resign in the middle of his third term. He also served as the attorney general of New York from 2007 to 2010.
