Danielle is originally from the Bronx. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the City College of New York, a master’s degree in elementary education from Mercy College, and a professional certificate in school administration from the College of Saint Rose. She lives in the Bronx with her child and volunteers with The Unity Democratic Club and the James Baldwin Outdoor Learning Center.

Danielle currently works as a teacher with the New York City Department of Education. She previously served as an assistant principal, literacy coach, behavioral therapist, and adjunct professor.
