Michelle earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration and political science from St. John’s University and a law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. She lives in New York City.

Michelle currently works as the deputy district director for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. She previously worked as vice chairperson of New York City Community Board 10, a litigation assistant and Japanese document reviewer for legal firms, a research assistant at the Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center, and a graduate assistant at the University of Iowa.

Michelle Booker’s campaign for delegate to the judicial convention in New York State Assembly District 70 is her first run for public office.
