Keith Tiner has lived in North Texas since the early 80s. He grew up in North Fort Worth. He gained a bachelor’s degree in music business from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He and his wife, Samantha, have been Benbrook residents since 2006 and have two children. Keith is an active participant in his children's parent-teacher associations (PTA). As a family, they are active members at St. Paul Lutheran Church in downtown Fort Worth.

Keith is a finance manager at Northrop Grumman, where he has worked for the past 15 years. He has served in various finance and accounting roles, including property tax, capital management, project management, and cost accounting.

Keith is currently a member of the Benbrook City Council, Place 7. He was elected in 2021 and is currently serving his first term. Before his election to the council, he served two years on the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation.
