Sandra Melton has lived in Sherman for nearly 40 years. She and her husband, Danny, have five children and nine grandchildren.

Sandra is a retired city employee. She worked for the City of Sherman for nearly 22 years, spending the first five years in the water office and the remainder as a certified city clerk. After retiring, she spent six years as a library associate at Neblett Elementary School.
