Maynard Keller has lived in the City of Roanoke for 30 years. His wife, Rachel, is a teacher at Roanoke Valley Christian School. Together, they have five children and three grandchildren. Maynard grew up in a blue collar household in rural Pennsylvania. His dad worked in a paper factory and his mom was a school bus driver. During summers, Maynard worked to pay his way through school on hot roofs throughout Pennsylvania. Here, he learned the value of hard work and why his family of immigrants came to America in search of the American dream.

Maynard L. Keller, Jr.'s campaign for Virginia State Delegate, District 38 is his first entry into politics.

Believes Roanoke residents deserve improved economic conditions and plans to advocate for their shared vision.

S. "Sam" Rasoul

Sam Rasoul is from Warren, Ohio. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Roanoke College and a master’s degree in international business from Hawaii Pacific University. He lives with his wife, Layaly, and their three children in Roanoke, Virginia.

Sam is a healthcare consultant at Envigor Consulting. He previously ran a nonprofit healthcare firm and owned a business.

Sam is currently a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. He has served in the House of Delegates since 2014 and currently represents District 38. He assumed office in 2024 and is running for re-election in 2025.
