Biko Agozino has a bachelor's degree in sociology from University of Calabar, a master's degree in criminology from University of Cambridge, and a doctorate in law and society from The University of Edinburgh.

Biko's campaign for state delegate in district 42 is his first run for public office.

Biki is a professor of sociology and africana studies at Virginia Tech. He previously was a professor of sociology at the University of the West Indies, an associate professor at Cheyney University, and an associate professor of criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
