Angela graduated from Atlanta Area Technical College as an EMT paramedic and attended Georgia Public Safety Training Center for management of police operations.

Angela previously worked for the US State Department as a criminal intelligence analyst, a senior advisor, and as director of the Police Development Programs, Narcotics Division. She also worked as a Detective-Sergeant for 15 years in DeKalb County.

Angela T. Chainer

Angela is a law enforcement and crisis response professional. She spent over three decades at the DeKalb County Police Department, where she led units tackling violent crime and launched one of Georgia's first community policing programs. She also worked internationally to help rebuild police systems in Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Haiti.
