Seth Burton lives in Huntsville, Alabama. He studied international relations at The University of Freiburg, and earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and his master's degree in national security and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College. He currently attends National Defense University. He lives with his wife, three children, and two grandchildren.

Seth is the founder of Prudentia LLC and currently works as a business development director at Leidos. He previously worked as a senior advisor AUKUS trilateral security partnership at Navel Sea Systems Command and a deputy director and chief of staff with the Naval Nuclear Weapons Program. He served as a nuclear submarine commander in the U.S. Navy for 30 years.
