Chris Beeker is from Eutaw, Alabama. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi at Oxford. 

Chris previously owned and operated Beeker Catfish and Cattle Farms in Eutaw. He also served as a Greene County commissioner from 1986 to 2006, including a decade as chair.

Chris previously worked in banking and finance. He also worked as state director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Development program.

Chris is currently a commissioner on the Alabama Public Service Commission. He was appointed to this position in September 2024.
