He also is the ceo of The Shooting Institute, an organization that provides firearms training to law enforcement, military officials, and civilians. He previously served as a sheriff's deputy and a Navy SEAL from 2006 to 2012. 

Jared previously served as a deputy sheriff in Elmore County.
