2026 Georgia General Election

Economic growth is another major priority for me.
I believe we should attract new businesses and investment to St. Marys, but we must do it carefully and responsibly. We should support development that creates jobs, strengthens our tax base, and improves quality of life — while also preserving the charm and character that make our city unique.

Small businesses are the backbone of this community.
Small businesses are not just a storefront-they are families, jobs, and dreams. As a city, we must be a partner, not a barrier. That means streamlining permitting, offering clear guidance instead of red tape, and actively recruiting businesses that fit our community’s character-not just any growth, but smart growth. It also means supporting existing businesses so they can expand, hire locally, and stay in St. Marys.

We must empower small businesses. That means transparent, predictable permitting, clear communication from city leadership, regular roundtables with business owners, and strategic partnerships with the Chamber of Commerce and regional development authorities.

We should be attracting boutique retail, family-owned restaurants, marine related businesses, and professional services that serve both residents and the base community at Kings Bay.

Economy

Another issue close to my heart is protecting the quality of life in St. Marys.

We should continue investing in recreation, beautification, youth programs, and community partnerships that bring people together.

Development of a Children and Youth Commission
They are not just our future-they are our present. I am committed to establishing a Children and Youth Commission to give young people and families a voice in city decisions. This commission would focus on youth development, safety, education partnerships, recreation, and mental health support.

Public Services

Address Blight and Beautification

This takes leadership courage. We must confront neglected properties and code enforcement issues that impact neighborhoods and economic development.

I support strong but fair code enforcement, clear timelines for property remediation, beautification initiatives led by public-private partnerships, and community cleanup days.

Housing & Urban Development

One of my priorities will be protecting public safety.
A safe city is the foundation of a strong community. I will work to support our police officers, firefighters, emergency responders, and public works employees who serve this city every day. They deserve respect, proper resources, competitive pay, and leadership that stands behind them.

Public Safety

I also want to focus on infrastructure and traffic improvements.

As our community grows, our roads, drainage systems, parks, sidewalks, and public spaces must keep up with that growth. Residents should not have to deal with neglected infrastructure or flooding concerns while taxes continue to rise. We need smart planning, responsible budgeting, and long-term thinking.
