It is not that I think everyone should be allowed to erode the soil as much as they want. Full respect for property rights entails an obligation not to degrade the property of others. However, I have no trust that a cabal of bureaucrats, who remain nameless and faceless to the public on account of their total obscurity, are doing their job the way we would want them to. It is rather more likely they are pushing the same progressive agenda that almost all bureaucrats do, and generally being annoying.

This is why I must run; to find out what exactly they are up to and check their excesses (or at least publicize them). I am Zane Placie, and I ask for your vote for Fulton County Soil and Water District Supervisor.

- District Supervisors are responsible for providing local representation. District Supervisors work with the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to voice their local county needs.
- District Supervisors hold monthly meetings in their counties where citizens can give input on local resource priorities from state and federal assistance programs.
- Each county is represented by at least two district supervisors, one appointed and one elected. SWCD Managers are unpaid.
