Mohammad Alam has a bachelor's degree in biology, a bachelor's degree in political science and government, a master's degree in management information system, a master's degree in mathematics and education, a master's degree in military science, a high school mathematics teacher certification, an LLB, or Bachelor of Laws, from Central Law College, a law degree, and a PhD in equal-cost multi-path (ECMP).

Mohammad is a radio talk show host, television talk show host, and chief executive officer (CEO) of MS Corporation. He previously worked as a high school math teacher at Imagine Renaissance Academy and at Derrick Thomas Academy of Math and Science, as an intern at the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and as a software developer, user acceptance testing (UAT) test engineer, and information technology (IT) business analyst. Mohammad also served in the U.S. Army.

Mohammad Alam was appointed to the Property Maintenance Appeal Board in Kansas City, Missouri, in 2008 and was elected as Ward Committeeman of Jackson County’s 26th Ward in 2010, serving until 2012. He previously ran for Missouri’s 50th State House District in 2010, Kansas City Missouri’s 6th District City Council in 2011, Missouri Secretary of State in 2012 and 2016, and Michigan State Representative from District 4 in 2018 and 2020, but did not win.
