A proud Greek American and Orthodox Christian, Michos is deeply rooted in her community. She serves as the PTA President for the Stefanos and Areti Cherpelis Hellenic School at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Flushing and has long been active in local civic life. Earlier in her career, she worked to deliver health literacy and nutrition education to underserved communities across New York City.

Pamela H. Michos is originally from Whitestone, Queens. She has a associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Nassau Community College and a degree in Nutrition Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from New York University. She is the president of the parent-teacher association for the Stefanos and Areti Cherpelis Hellenic School at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Flushing. She is a single mother and lives in Queens.

Pamela currently works as a vice president-branch manager at JPMorganChase. She has previously worked as a financial center manager at Bank of America, a regional business director and area manager for Town Sports International, and a Dietician for Sri Gastroenterology, Queens Long Island Medical Group, and Workmen's Circle Multicare Center.
