Eric Hall earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Miami University, a master's degree in kinesiology and exercise science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a PhD in kinesiology and exercise science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. 

Eric currently works as assistant provost for scholarship and creative activity and as a professor of exercise science at Elon University. He previously worked as director of the undergraduate research program, as interim assistant provost for scholarship and creative activity, and as faculty athletics representative at Elon University.
