I am a lifelong resident of Gaston County and reside in Belmont with my wife Heather and our four children. I am educated through Gaston County Schools and a graduate of Pfeiffer College with a bachelor of science in accounting and a minor in business administration.

With the current issues plaguing Gaston County Schools, I want to make sure every teacher is not left behind without payment or any needed classroom supplies to help further the education of their students. 

I am running to give Gaston County teachers and students a voice. A voice that will never back down to fighting for what’s best for our educational system.

Some of the issues that are vitally important to me are: improving school safety, to ensure our students and teachers have the safest and most secure learning environment.

Tod Kinlaw is from Gaston County, North Carolina.
