Pitt County - NC — A rezoning request made by Hexagon Development, LLC for a solar panel project in Grifton has been approved in a 5-4 vote by the Pitt County Commissioners. This action comes a month after the planning board voted to recommend the project, despite mixed comments from residents.

The following commissioners voted NO to the approval of the rezoning request:
