Reggie Watson is from Harnett County, North Carolina. He has multiple certifications in technology. He is a Christian.

Reggie is a retired law enforcement officer. He previously served as a military police officer, a Spring Lake police officer, and a North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper. He also worked as a DMV enforcement officer and later an instructor. Reggie is an Army veteran.

Reggie previously ran for Harnett County sheriff in 2022 but did not win. He has over 43 years of experience in law enforcement, including serving as a military police officer, a Spring Lake police officer, and a North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper. 

Reggie is a retired law enforcement officer. He previously worked at the U.S. Army as a Military Police officer, the Town of Spring Lake as a police officer, the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles as an Enforcement Officer and academy instructor, the North Carolina Highway Patrol as a State Trooper, and Womack Army Medical Center in both the Information Management Division and Security Forces.

Reggie Watson's campaign for Sheriff of Harnett County is his first entry into politics.

- The sheriff is responsible for enforcing the law, managing security in jails and courtrooms. They also oversee daily conditions of the jail and inmates in custody and serve legal documents such as warrants and eviction notices. Their ultimate responsibility is to protect the community.
