Said, "Responsible Growth – Towns and cities must have a say in how growth in their communities is regulated. Developers must be required to pay impact fees. If they are going to build, then they must pay their fair share of the costs that come with new development. Approval of any building must take into consideration the impact it will have on roads, schools, fire, police, health, and the environment. We must hold developers fiscally responsible for their fair share of infrastructure costs."

Said, "Also, the Wetlands must be protected, clearcutting abolished, and open burns regulated. These practices all have detrimental effects on the environment and communities."

Said, "People Deserve Access to Safe & Clean Drinking Water – People deserve to drink safe, clean water. For years forever chemicals have been dumped into the Cape Fear River polluting our drinking water, soil, groundwater, and even the fish. This pollution must be addressed immediately because these chemicals cause cancer and developmental disabilities. We must hold those responsible liable for the cleanup."
