Born into a North Carolina farming family, Blair Eddins grew up knowing first-hand the value of hard work and the importance of agriculture in our State’s economy. Farming grain and tobacco and eventually expanding into livestock motivated him to pursue a degree in agriculture from North Carolina State University, where he graduated with degrees in Agriculture Business Management and Field Crop Technology.

In addition to farming and agriculture, Blair has owned and operated several successful businesses. From grading and landscaping to commercial and residential real estate development, Blair knows what it takes to own and operate a business. He has first-hand experience with the daily challenges small business owners in our communities face.

We must protect the most vulnerable in our society, and our state legislature needs to embrace life-affirming protections for mothers and their unborn children, as well as the elderly, to ensure that all life is protected, valued, and cared for in North Carolina.

We need state leaders who say “No” when government bureaucrats want to exercise unconstitutional authority over North Carolina. If elected as your representative in Raleigh, I will not sit by and capitulate to government overreach. I will never permit someone like Anthony Fauci to tell us what we can and cannot do pertaining to our health freedoms.

In addition to the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Article 1 Section 30 of the North Carolina Constitution is clear: "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." As your representative in Raleigh, I will not infringe on the rights of North Carolina's citizens to purchase, own, and enjoy their firearms.

As citizens of the 94th district, we need to stand together against the liberal ideologies that are designed to infect our children. Our schools must teach children how to read, write, and do arithmetic. Our children need to learn the rich history of our country and state. Our children need to understand why they should be proud to be Americans.

The Battle for Education

The current platform of the North Carolina Democrat Party lays out the Left's desire to provide "age-appropriate sex educational programs in our schools…so that educators are empowered and permitted to provide scientifically accurate information about safe sexual practices." This is not only crazy but downright evil. Now, I'm grateful that our state legislature has made significant veto overrides recently to combat the Left's push, but we cannot become complacent.
