Mark Morse has a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He is a homeowner in Laurel Park, previously residing in Timber Creek and now in the Echo Lake area of Town.

Mark is a consultant for startup businesses. He previously served as president and chief operating officer (COO) of SELEE Corporation for 22 years. He also has experience in the manufacturing industry. 

Mark is currently a member of the Laurel Park Town Council. He was appointed to the council in 2025 to fill a vacancy. Before his appointment, he served for five years on the Laurel Park Board of Adjustment.
