Mike Eldreth is originally from Ashe County, North Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of Science in education from Appalachian State University. Mike lives with his wife, Dianne Eldreth, and they have three children and one grandchild.

Mike Eldreth is a retired educator who spent his career working in Ashe County public schools. He coached and taught in the county for 35 years before retiring in 2010.
