Shaun Morgan earned a bachelor's degree in political science and accounting from North Carolina State University and a master's degree in finance from Penn State University. He volunteers as a member of the Stanly County Consolidated Human Services Board.

Shaun's campaign for Stanly County Commission, District 2 is his first run for public office.

Shaun currently works as the owner of SERVPRO of Anson, Stanly, & Richmond Counties, a cleanup and restoration company, and of a Sweet Frog frozen yogurt store. He previously worked as the owner of SERVPRO of Union County, vice president of sales for Lance, Inc., a snack company, and a national sales director for the Hershey Company. He served in the U.S. Army for four years.
