Evelyn is a retired police captain. She previously worked as a communications operator for the Pflugerville Police Department. She also worked as a reserve officer for the Manor Police Department. In addition, she has over 20 years of real estate experience. 

Evelyn is currently a judge for Precinct 3 of the Williamson County Justice of the Peace. She was first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022.
