Brian Harrison has a bachelor�'s degree in economics from Texas A&M University. He lives in Ellis County, Texas, with his wife, Tara, and their four children.

Brian previously served as the chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He previously worked for the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Social Security Administration, as an independent consultant, a director at a public affairs firm, and as an executive commissioner of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

Brian is currently the state representative for District 10. He was first elected in 2021 and is currently serving his second term. He previously ran for U.S. Representative for Texas District 6 in 2021, but did not win.
