Adrian Reyna is originally from San Antonio. He earned bachelor's degrees in government and political communications from the University of Texas at Austin, and a master's degree in educational leadership from Trinity University. He lives with his fiancee, Brittany, and three children.

Adrian currently works as a history teacher for the San Antonio Independent School District and as the executive vice president of the San Antonio Alliance, Local 67, a teacher's union.
