Donna was raised in Alpharetta. She attended Milton High School and has a bachelor's degree in management information systems from the University of Georgia. She is on the board of directors for the Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce and the advisory council for North Fulton Community Charities. She and her husband, Pat, have three adult children.

Donna is a realtor with Sotheby's International Realty.
