Michelle is the senior resident manager of environmental health and safety at Anheuser-Busch, LLC. She was recently elected third vice president of the Georgia Municipal Association, which is a nonprofit that provides education, consulting and political advocacy services to cities.

Michelle Cooper Kelly is a member of the Marietta City Council, representing Ward 6 since 2013. She has served two terms and was mayor pro tem this year. She is chair of the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Committee and a member of the Finance and Public Works committees. If elected, she would be Marietta's first Black mayor.
