Reggie was born and raised in Marietta. He attended Marietta High School. He has a bachelor's degree in sociology and criminal justice from Piedmont College, a master's degree in education and counseling from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in divinity with a concentration in pastoral care from Emory University.

Reggie is the president of RMC Empowerment Center, Inc. He served in the United States Air Force as an officer and Chaplain Candidate. He is a licensed counselor. He has previously worked as a therapist at Pathway to Hope Counseling Services, a supply minister for various funeral homes, a counselor at the State of Georgia Department of Offender Rehabilitation and a bishop and senior paster of House of Hope International.
