Curtis lives in West Savannah. He graduated from Middlebury College, and has a law degree from the University of Georgia.

Curtis has worked in politics for decades. He previously worked for Georgia governor Zell Miller, and as a policy analyst in the Georgia General Assembly. He's acted as a consultant for various political campaigns, including Judge Tammy Stokes'. He currently works as a certified mediation specialist.

Curtis Antonio Singleton's campaign for city alderman is his first entry into politics.
