Danielle is from rural Indiana. She attended DePauw University to earn her bachelor’s degree. She later earned her master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. Danielle, her husband, and their 3 daughters live in Woodstock, Georgia. She is an active member in the local Catholic Church.

Don graduated from West Virginia State University. He is married to Jo Lynn, with whom he has two daughters. The family faced the loss of their daughter Jennifer in 2020.
