Buddy Carter

Earl currently lives with his wife, Amy, with whom he has three sons and seven grandchildren. Carter graduated from Young Harris College and the University of Georgia, where he got a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Carter was born and raised in Port Wentworth, Georgia.

Earl previously worked as a pharmacist and small business owner of Carter’s Pharmacy, Inc. for 30 years.

Earl L. Carter previously served as Mayor of Pooler, Georgia, as well as serving in the Georgia General Assembly. Carter is seeking his sixth term in the House of Representatives and currently serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Budget Committee. Carter also is the chairman of the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Environment, Manufacturing, and Critical Materials.

Co-sponsored the " Fair Tax Act" which would abolish the Internal Revenue Service, as well as  eliminating "all personal and corporate income taxes, the death tax, gift taxes, and the payroll tax."
